Welcome to mrs. Goodsell's classroom
My name is Breanne Goodsell and I am from a small community in northern
Michigan. I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2011 with a
Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. Mathematics was my major and
reading in the elementary grades was my minor. While at CMU, I was part of
several organizations that pertained to teaching, both in elementary and in my
major and minor. I enjoyed my time in these groups and am still a
member of these groups professionally. In May of 2011, I was given the
opportunity to teach second grade in the Laveen Elementary School District in
Phoenix, Arizona. I was able to move back to the Mid-West for my second year of teaching when I was offered a position at North Huron Elementary teaching a second and third grade split classroom. For the past two years I have been able to facilitate a third grade classroom within a Project Based Learning environment in Plymouth, Indiana. The 2016-2017 school year will be my second year at North Liberty Elementary!
My husband, Jason and I reside in North Liberty with our two kids, Gabe and Lydia. We have four types of pets, including a dog (Copper), a donkey (Coco), ducks, and chickens! In my personal time I enjoy many different
sports, scrapbooking, reading, spending time outside, and most importantly,
spending time with family and friends.
I am VERY excited to be a part of your learning and growing experience for this year and many more to follow. We will use this website as a source for obtaining information that you may need for our classroom as well as for sharing your thoughts and ideas on concepts and projects we have done in our classroom. Welcome to our classroom!
